I'm probably one of the most cynical people when it comes to romantic relationships. I don't fall in love and I don't believe in forever. And I most certainly do not celebrate Valentine's day. It's a nice concept, but who the hell cares. Couples have all year to celebrate their love anyway. Still, I tease SO about what he's going to do for me Saturday. :p
I think the Romans had the right idea when they celebrated Lupercalia, "The lovers' holiday traces its roots to raucous annual Roman festivals where men stripped naked, grabbed goat- or dog-skin whips, and spanked young maidens in hopes of increasing their fertility." Sounds like a normal night with your beau, no?
Here is my Lupercalia look.

Not very bold. Not totally natural. All MAC shadows.

Stila liquid liner

I'm reviewing this on behalf of my roommate who is pretty new to makeup and wanted a liner that was easy to use. I've also tried applying this on her.
Pros: No pot to dip in, this liquid liner is convenient and easy to travel with. The pointed felt tip makes for precise lining and is easy even for a noob to handle.
Cons: Because the liquid liner is contained in the body of this pen, you tend to run out of liquid as you are applying the liner. Imagine writing with a pen against a wall, or even upside down. You run out of ink! So you shake the pen to get the liner out. When my roommate did this, she flung a streak of black liner all over her bedsheets. She probably could have avoided this if she had placed the cap back on, but that's a bit of a bother. It's also not very pigmented. I had to go over her lid several times to get a solid line.
In the end, I suggested that she try Revlon Colorstay liquid liner (I take back all the bad things I said about it) and she's been using it ever since. It's a better product, a better designed product, and costs half the amount of this Stila liner.

I still haven't reviewed my BB creams. In all honesty, I can't seem to form a solid opinion about them. So far, my skin has not improved as a result of using Hanskin and I'm not sure if it's because the product is inferior or if my hormones are out of whack.

The banner looks amazing. I chickened out because I suck at digital art... hahaha. But I'm sure you got amazing entries. Terri is an awesome artist!!

Aw, I'm sure you would have done a fine job anyway! I don't think I'll ever hold another contest though.
Wow! Thank you so much Fei!!! The banner looks great! I like how you altered it a bit and made the lip stain more red, I didn't have any red lipsticks at the time. hahah. Mac Scant was the closest red that I had. lol. But it looks awesome!!! I'm glad everyone likes it.
