Spiderlashes

Is there a correlation between this sudden jump in number of entries and the fact that I have final papers due at the end of this week? You betcha!

FOTD

Nothing spectacular here. Just another fotd...

Etherealprey: I used the Raffia Orange Dior lipgloss here. The lighting washed it out, so it's more vibrant than that.

Fly Mama's Contest

For her Runway look I've decided to take note from Dior's Fall 2008 Ready-to-Wear show:

Ain't it trippy? It's all about big fat lashes. Unfortunately, I don't have lashes quite as big as the ones they used in their show. My Red Cherry lashes--the longest pair I own--don't even come close!

The left eye was my first take, so it came out wonky... Which is why I have my hair covering it! lol

Used:
Revlon Colorstay liquid eyeliner
Red Cherry falsies
Wet 'n Wild white eyeliner
MAC Pandamonium black eyeshadow
MAC Pink Poodle lipglass (Quite possibly my most favorite pink lipgloss ever.)

Woops! I just realized L didn't want us to PS it in any way, but you can just crop out my webby... :X

Reviews

Likas Papya Soap ($3.50). This is a skin whitening body soap that I picked up in Monterey Park. See that "No Therapeutic Claims" sticker? Under it are the words, "Skin Whitening." Haha. Alright, on with the review... The soap is orange. When I leave it on that little soap thing in the shower it STAINS it. So I have to keep it in a separate soap dish. Totally nothing to do with the efficacy of the product, but is definitely a major annoyance. The soap itelf leaves my skin feeling incredibly dry, which is probably not a good thing if you've got dry skin. I don't see any results yet, but I'm pretty sure I won't be buying this again...

Kracie Naive Peach foaming cleanser ($4.50). This one reminds me of a Shiseido foaming cleanser I used to use. Just like that one, this peach cleanser creates a lot of foam (nice!), gives you a squeaky clean feeling (I love it!), but leaves you with dry skin as a result (Nooooo!). Despite its ability to strip your face of its oils, this cleanser does a shitty job of removing makeup. I like the scent (it really does smell like peaches), but I definitely won't be repurchasing this.

Comments and Q&A

Yes, yes. Sephora has a very lenient return policy. Actually, if you have a problem with any cosmetic product there shouldn't be any reason why you can't get your money back.

i bought a dior palette this weekend too and returned it, haha...very smooth but the colors were ehhh

I wish Dior would come out with more color combos! As of now, I can't really find one I MUST HAVE.

Alright... Time to hit the books again. :(
