Yet another facelift...

Okay, I hope I've fixed the damn comment problem. I think you can tell I've also changed the overall layout. Hopefully things will run more smoothly on this template. I'll add my blogroll soon.

I went to Coscto, Alhambra today. Bought a Panasonic Lumix and was surprised they knocked off another $20. Those are the BEST surprises. $180 for a point and shoot... Not bad. I'm still a Sony whore inside. ;) My brother got lucky. He now has a new laptop.

Guess what? They carry MAC! I had no idea... They only had the eyeshadow pots, packed individually in those Costco pre-moulded plastic containers. Way to be green, Costco. :\ There was a very limited selection of colors, maybe just three colors, and they go for $11.49 each. I only remember an abundance of Deep Truth.

Thanks to all the girls for your input on the Beijing teaching post. My Mandarin is very limited, even though I had years of schooling. I think was most held me back from being about to get Mandarin to stick was PRACTICE. I never used it here and I feel like dumping my ass in China for 6 months to a year would be VERY helpful. I know I'll be annoyed. OH BOY will I be annoyed. But I really am excited about the prospect of living on my own in China for a short time. Very envious of the girls who are or who have done this. That means YOU NicNic & Steph!

MukoMuko update: I received my parcel from Singapore quite some time ago, but was too lazy to post. My cardigan arrived so much faster than expected, so THANK YOU Ling. I'll have pics soon.

Zappos <3! They e-mailed me with an update on the UGG boots. I placed my order for a pair of black UGGs. $123, tax-free, free returns, and free shipping! Plus, they upgraded my order to overnight air. I know... They do that for almost everyone, but I can't say enough good things about their service. $160 for the women's size classic tall UGGs, $123 for the kids' size. I'm a size 8 in regular shoes, and fit in the UGG YOUTH/Big Kid size 6 boots.
