Waaaay back when I started getting active on ABB, someone mentioned Zipia and I was hooked. I loved the styles of much of their selection and was adding so much crap to my shopping cart. Heck, they had dresses for $10. How could I not? Unfortunately, you need to purchase a minimum of $500 as they are wholesalers. :( Lo and behold, there's a blogger amongst us who is a purveyor of Asian style clothing.
I was approached to check out Ling's e-store. Eager to give a boost to a budding entrepreneur like herself, I obliged, so this is a sort of honest review slash advertorial. Her blogshop, MukoMuko, makes Asian boutiques more accessible to regular joes who want more options outside of eBay or Yesstyle. Comparing MukoMuko's prices to those of its competitors, it's still relatively inexpensive and the shipping is about the same (yes, she ships internationally). The selection appears meager, but it looks as if she's always freshening up shop with new collections so there's reason to check back if what she has doesn't tickle your fancy.
I know that the word "fob" comes to mind when you think of Asian clothing. At least it does for me, but it no longer carries with it a negative connotation. Besides, I don't believe any article of clothing is "fobby"--it's the way you wear it. There are a few things I can see myself wearing, such as this colorful summer dress:

25 SGD, which translates to a little over $18 U.S., it's quite cute and the blue version is already sold out.

This is one I could definitely see myself in. Very casual and would look great paired with skinny jeans, a hot leather bag, and big sunnies. Just a very simple, oversized cardigan. Looks long enough to cover your booty, which is great if the pants you're wearing makes your ass look nonexistant. XD

Then there are things that you could wear to work. I love outfits for work that don't follow the usual white shirt and black slacks formula. Who wants to look like a damn waitress?!
So, there's a little everything for everyone. It looks as if most of the clothing is on the petite side, so if you always find yourself looking through the girl's clothing section because you're too small here's a place for you. Stop by MukoMuko sometime. Ling's a regular amongst a few of our beauty blogs, which is great because that means communication with her should be swift and easy.
Funnily enough, one of the things I've taken away from viewing her shop are ideas for how to wear my hair. Ahh... I can't wait for my locks to get long enough.
Anyone already shop at MukoMuko? You can leave your feedback here! I'd love to see your hauls.
